Visited St George Banquet Hall yesterday for a work meeting. As always, everything ran smoothly and the meal served was enjoyable. This is definitely a very good venue for meetings various sizes.
We had such an amazing experience having our wedding reception at St. George Banquet Hall. Brani made the planning process so smooth and easy, and was so helpful throughout the entire process. The service on the wedding day was absolutely incredible. They made sure to go above and beyond to ensure that our wedding party and all of our guests were satisfied. The food was delicious and came out on time. They have made some renovations, and have new floors which made the entire venue more beautiful. We are beyond happy with the way our wedding reception turned out thanks to everyone at St. George!
Been here multiple times with weddings and christmas parties. The food was always bad. ( over cooked meat, lacking seasoning and imagination, plain jane over cooked disappointment.
Elegant and spacious hall with three distinct sections, ideal for hosting three separate events simultaneously. The flexibility allows these sections to be combined into a large hall, perfect for weddings with a sizable guest list. The venue is practical, and the staff is both friendly and professional. The culinary experience is excellent, and the presence of a separate restaurant within the hall, which happens to be one of my favorite dining spots in Waterloo, adds to its appeal.
visited for a formal from my school. it was pretty and nice, but the security was very poor and did nothing. the sound guy kept having audio issues, and the floor ended up being disgusting. however- this is not exactly due to the location and more so the kids. besides the school, a lovely place
It's a really nice hall and professionally run. For some reason their coffee machine broke so the management went out and got a bunch of take-10 coffees from there. On top of things! Other than that, plenty of parking and clean hall.
Serving staff is friendly but the food was awful. I went for my cousins wedding, the steak was so dry and gross. The mash tasted like dust. My fiancé has a dairy and egg allergy, their version of a dairy free meal meant veg and no potatoes for him, his soup was basically warm salsa. Not great for food. But the hall was clean. The washroom was not being maintained by staff properly and none of the stalls had toilet paper. It was also FREEZING. The AC was so high I had to get my grandmother a jacket from my car, and I had to wear a jacket inside
