I am so disappointed that I hadn't been to Covenant Cafe before ??? My tadtebuds and my heart missed out so badly! The variety in the menu, the quality of ingredients, the food itself, the staff, everything was exceptional!! The space is a bit tight but grab a menu at the entrance, place your oder and find a seat. If there's a wait... YOU WAIT! I promise you its worth it. Can't wait to try something new here on my next visit!!

This is a quaint coffee shop. It has a great selection of coffee and some tea options as well. They also have a supply of pastry's and cookies in addition to a small lunch menu. The seating is limited and can be hard to get a seat (especially on a Saturday afternoon). They do have one set of seats that would be good for a small group. We have been twice and it seems like it has a lot of university students (just an observation not a negative thing). We have tried a few things but we always stop in for a Cafe latte, London fog tea and a pastry treat. Parking is limited and sometimes you have to circle around to wait for a parking spot. I would recommend this place if you are in the area.

Absolutely the best breakfast spot in town! Every dish on the menu is delicious, portions are perfect, and prices are great. Super clean, welcoming, and always a wonderful start to the day. Highly recommend!

We’ve been to Covenant Cafe twice now and genuinely loved it, their coffees are probably the best we’ve ever tried, and up until today, every staff interaction had been wonderful. Unfortunately, this visit completely changed our impression. The café’s tables are very small and suited for one person. Since we were two people, we used two small tables side by side, just like every other person in the café, where each guest had one table to themselves. Despite this, one staff member came over and rudely demanded that we move because “other people want to sit.” Her tone was extremely condescending and not at all what you would expect from someone in customer service. What made this even more frustrating was that the community table had four empty seats available at the time, yet we were still asked to move. The staff member didn’t reserve the tables she told us to move to, and while we were packing up (which wasted about 20 minutes), those tables were taken by others, leaving us with nowhere to go. She later returned to say that the other group had agreed to sit at the community table and that we could have our seats “for now,” emphasizing for now in a very dismissive tone. We had ordered two lattes, two meals, left a $10 tip in advance, and had only been there for about an hour. We were even planning to order another round of pastries. There are no signs anywhere in the café about time limits or “table rules,” so if this is a new policy, I’d strongly suggest posting it clearly at the entrance. I’m writing this because words hold weight. Had this staff member approached us with kindness and respect, our experience could have been completely different. Unfortunately, her tone and attitude ruined what was otherwise one of our favourite cafés… and that’s truly disappointing.

Hidden gem of a cafe in the city. I could only imagine the traffic this cafe would bring if it was located closer to the city centre. I loved the ambiance while I worked here. There’s many customers who come to dine in which makes this seating more full, but the had a quieter patio at the back

This little gem is awesome, you have to try their French toast and their hot chocolate! Prices are good, and they have lots of options including gluten free!

The cafe itself has a warm, welcoming vibe—perfect for a relaxing meal or catching up with friends. The staff were friendly, attentive, and made the experience even better. It’s a local gem that definitely deserves more attention.
