The staff is warm and friendly. I just picked up a pair of jeans. The Manager is exceptional. She made sure the jeans fit perfect and I appreciated her advice and service quality.
Micky designed my first ever 3-piece suit and overcoat, both in Harris Tweed. I have to say that it was a very cooperative, fun and pleasant experience doing business with Micky and his team, and they delivered fantastic products for me. I have always wanted an old-school suit and military-style overcoat in Harris Tweed due to the fabric’s quality and durability, and my objective was timeless designs and colours so that the garments can last me decades to come. I was extremely selective about fabrics, therefore I went through loads of fabrics with Micky and his team across numerous appointments. Eventually I decided on two fabrics out of six that Mikey and I shortlisted, emphasising on versatility, price and compatibility to my skin tone and my existing wardrobe. For the remaining design details and decisions such as buttons, linings, lapels etc, I relied heavily on Micky and his team, and mainly went with what they have suggested to me. All garments were ready in a month, the suit jacket and trousers required no alteration, the vest was too tight therefore had to be remade, and the coat needed a very minor waist alternation (done in 1 day). I am very happy with the products, I can easily see myself wearing them for decades to come. Micky’s experience and instinct in both fashion and colours proved invaluable. Both garments fit me extremely well, it surprised me how much of a difference that tailored clothing can make in comparison to off-the-rack ones; the design and the colour, just as I wanted, were both timeless, and most importantly, suit me very well. And I must add, I learned a tremendous amount through the design process on what type of clothing suits me and what doesn’t. Even though all my appointments were booked with Micky, everybody else in the shop (Josh, Liz and Debra) has participated in the design process at one stage or another. I was impressed by the teamwork and the fact that they always bounced ideas off each other. If I ever need another piece of tailored clothing, I will be going back to Micky.

I went to Surmesur for a wedding day suit. I was helped by Josh, who from the very beginning worked with me to create what would become the best suit I've ever had. I brought them a look I wanted and Josh was able to create it exactly how I wanted. He was able to add any details or changes I requested and customize my suit the way I preferred it to be. The material used was wonderful and I couldn't be happier with how it turned out.
