Decent shop. The last few times I was in things were fairly picked-over, but I understand this with vinyl making such a comeback. The store owner is great and I enjoyed browsing.
Visiting from Winnipeg for two days. Hours posted online say open until 6:30, there’s no hours posted outside the storefront, and their social media pages give no inclination of the actual times either. Would have spent money or come at a time indicated on the door of the business, but ????????
Drove an hour and a half out of our way to specificly check this place out. Although google maps stated they were open, they were not. Not sure why they were closed at 1pm on a Saturday, or why they couldn't bother to update their hours online. Needless to say, I will not be returning. Please have the courtesy to update your hours for people who are travelling solely to visit and eventually support your store.
I can't say enough great things about Orange Monkey. Always down to chat, love for music, real conversation and an outstanding shopping experience. This store has been able to find me lucky variants, and special surprises tucked away from years past at a fair price. ORANGE MONKEY ROCKS!
Coolest atmosphere I've seen in a record store. Tiny, quaint shop in an attic absolutely filled to the brim with records. My go-to place for splurging paycheques on some wax!
Just received a random phone call from a staff member yelling at me for hanging up on him. Have never called this place in my life. If that is the service to be expected - beware!
Vince the owner is an excellent guy he has a great selection of albums from many genres of music The store is awesome and he makes you feel valued and comfortable in this setting I respect and appreciate Vince and I'm sure you will too when you all go check it out ?
