Poor record keeping practice. I understand that insurance agent has a high turnover rate and cannot be a reliable source when you need to inquire about your own policy. But when ask with the head office about my policy they are unable to provide the 10-year detail about the policy performance (it has an investment portfolio), top up with long response time making Equitable Life just another insurance company that has poor post-sale client relationship.
Absolute horrible experience with their phone systems....garbage. Would be nice to speak to humans after waiting 15 minutes to be told to leave a voice mail.

It's always a roll of the dice whether or not your claim will be paid. It doesn't really seem anyone at Equitable really has a grasp that the errors they make affect people and their families. Very disappointed.
Horrible at paying claims. Prices maybe lower but the service isnt close to the bigger companies. Sometimes its worth going with the more prominent companies. Have had issues with claims payments for massage for the past three years.
