Had a lovely time here tonight with my boyfriend. We sat outside on the patio and our server, Josh, was exceptional! It was busy but he was very attentive and informative about the menu. I had the schnitzel and my boyfriend had the chicken supreme and they were both great. Since it's a higher scale restaurant we were expecting small portions, but we were both pleasantly surprised by the large amount of food we got! Looking forward to going back :)
Nice atmosphere and good service. Prices seemed high but I didn't mind because someone else paid. I had the Jagerschnitzel, which was good if you like meat and potatoes, but i regretted my choice as soon as I saw the salmon, which looked great. Beer selection was better than pretty much any other restaurant i know of besides pubs. Overall a place i would return to for sure.
We recently dined at Sole for our anniversary. It was wonderful. I had the Sweet Potato Lasagna and they even gave me the recipe! The service was excellent, attentive but not intrusive. We ate inside, which was a better temperature than outside at the time, but they have a lovely patio too.
We went here for Thanksgiving with a big group and the food and service were very good. We enjoyed the plating and pairings of food, and the variety on the menu. They had a special Oktoberfest menu as well that had some interesting items on it. The main reason I came to do a review is to say while they had a great high chair with a tray for my toddler, there was NO CHANGE TABLE in the women's washroom! Beware if you have a child in diapers. And to the owners please install one in each washroom!
We were there for a convention last week and were staying across the street at the Delta. We asked a few people about recommendations for restaurants in the area and all suggested Sole.The food was incredible and the service was fantastic as well. This is a definite 5 star restaurant. I will recommend this to anyone going to this area.
