This is the worst rental company I have ever dealt with. I was a tenant at the Hub with my boyfriend. We always paid our rent on time. The fire alarms went off a lot, security eas terrible (the doors were left open) and people parked in my parking space a lot. We had to sublet the apartment for a few months. The person we subletted the place to returned all of the keys on time. We were then contacted two months after the contract ended to state that they would not be returning the $500 key deposit. Their system says that only one key was returned. Not true. I would suggest to anyone who is thinking of living at the Hub or accommod8u to look for any other place - anywhere is better than this horrible company.

I have to say there are plenty of negative comments on social media about accommod8u. I am adding one more. Unacceptable lack of service and communication. Save yourself a lot of headaches and do not commit or sign any contract with this company. Since moving in on Sept 3, my sons' unit was a total dirty disgusting mess. Dirty floor, dried food on the wall and dried noodles crusted on the chairs, ants, hair, finger nail clippings. Not sure how the last tenants past the "sign off" inspection which is company policy to get key deposit back. Not even a courtesy call was given to let us know the unit was not "move in" ready. Also, Air Conditioning not working. (228 Albert entire building ) since move in on sept 3, so currently for 9 days. It is 26 degrees in their unit. Also unacceptable.We paid 480.00 for covered parking and there is always someone else in it. I would think that if we pay for something, it should be ours to use and something should be enforced to ensure it is yours for the year. It is clear to me that they just want your money. Luxury living and accommodations? Absolutely not, Not worthy of the one star rating.

Guys I have a lot to say about this company, and there property (the hub on Lester and Columbia), but Ill keep it short and sweet. Lived in there property for 1 year, the building was new and it was messed up. Alarms would go off 4 am in the morning. There parking lot was filthy and they had screw lying around the parking lot and punctured my tire. Rent was approx 750 for each room (3 bedroom in total, Icon is cheaper). Ac and furnace was working for like 2 months.they trick you by making 2 months of your lease payment free but compensate by charging you alot. Electricity bill was always different. I may have missed more points but do not get a place with them, or at least do not be the lease holder.

Phenomenal promptness and professionalism from maintenance. Very quick to respond to tenant needs and pleasant demeanour when handling Accomod8 maintenance requests, namely by Churance.

when I was signing the contract they verbally made sound like parking would be provided through them at an additional cost of 100$ per month. However when I moved in I discovered that parking was actually done via an app and they had nothing to do with it. With just two weeks left to move in I was called and they told me that I would have to change units since my unit was reassigned to a buyer, then when I called them two days later they said that I am keeping the same unit. Move in was delayed 5 days, when I got into the apartment it was very dirty and had paint stains on the ground. Also paint quality was very poor as they only applied 1 coat of paint. one of the pot lights wasn't even connected to a switch so it would stay on all the time if I had not disconnected it. There was a chip in the bathroom mirror and mismatched kitchen cabinets. On move in day they had verbally promised that curtains would come on the last day of move in week, here we are three weeks later and I still have no curtains and no privacy, especially with construction still being done at the building and workers looking through my windows when climbing on the platform hoist . Last week I was unloading things from my car at 11 pm and to my surprise the front door was open and no security was on site. And today they sent a notice of entry with absolutely no explanation as to why they are entering the premise. I've been waiting on things to improve and have been refraining myself from writing this review however, it doesn't look like anything is changing anytime soon.This company doesn't even deserve 1 star, they almost never fulfill their promises, they are always late for deadlines and most of the staff are dis-coordinated has no clue what's going on.
