This hotel is very modern. The lobby is open and welcoming. Staff was very pleasant and efficient. Rooms were clean and had all that was needed for my stay. Noise was almost non-existent even though construction on a local road outside the hotel was ongoing. Great outdoor patio space that had live music on Thursday.
I was at at the Delta hanging out with a colleague who was staying there. His room was excellent. Very modern, spacious, and comfortable. Large bright window, and more then enough seating to be able to spend time in the room. One of the only critiques is that the hotel was the most expensive option. Could have been due to Hack the North and there events happening in Waterloo, but a similar room at a hotel in Kitchener was nearly half the price.
I was not there as a guest, but rather to get information about potentially hosting a wedding. We are likely going to pursue the venue, as it made a very positive impression. The rooms are beautiful, the event floor is just what we wanted, and the lobby and location are both excellent. We were very impressed, and hopefully I can share more about the venue after the wedding.
The hotel room was clean, pretty impressed with the room size. No complaints. There is a pool, and food staple to a joy. The staff are friendly. Great place highly recommend.
Classy hotel with polite, helpful staff, spacious rooms, and comfortable beds. There's a restaurant in the hotel with a great breakfast buffet, and there's a small pool and pleasant 24 hour fitness center. It's located right in Uptown Waterloo, just steps away from Waterloo square, Waterloo park, the Perimeter institute, and the clay and glass museum. It's also a short walk through Waterloo park to University of Waterloo.
