We checked in/out remotely and used a phone as a keypads so we had effortless start and end to our stay. Room was clean but oddly set up as it was an accessible room but the tv was placed perpendicular to both the bed and couch with no way to orient it otherwise; this might be to accommodate some patron but it should have been on a mount of some kind. The breakfast area was clean and well staffed. Stay was quiet and undisturbed. UPDATE: Removed a star because on a recent visit I noted that their swimming pool does not open until 9am which is substantially later then typical pools and didn't work with my schedule.
We were able to check in early. This was good. Then upon seeing the room it was definitely smaller than it looked on line and said it had a full kitchen...it did not. Only had a cooktop,no stove. They offered to upgrade us for free. Refused the update as the only difference was it was the same room but had a false wall separating the bed from the rest of the suite. The toilet ran almost constantly and the exhaust fan did not work in the bathroom. A "complimentary hot breakfast is included". Not so much. Consisted of an English muffin with egg on it, sausage links and beans. You could make your own mini waffles in a waffle maker. The rest was continental breakfast. Was quoted and received an invoice for a certain price...just looked at my Visa bill. They charged me $15 more. We did not use any extras! On checking out mentioned the washroom problems in our suite...front desk staff did not seem to care. In short...not staying here or any other Hilton.
I have stayed here for nearly a month during an official visit. I really enjoyed my stay and would rate it very high. The amenities include really comfy rooms with modular kitchen and common amenities (TV , AC, Locker, iron, free WiFi and more). Common amenities in the building include a swimming pool, Landry and drier (pay and use), Swimming pool with heated water, Gym, Ice vending machine, lemonade dispenser. The restaurant offers really great variety in the complementary breakfast. They also have free light meals Monday to Thursday evenings which they call evening social. Very friendly and helpful staff. They also offer free pick-up and drop within 5km radius of the facility.
Very nice, clean, and comfortable stay at a reasonable price. Service is very friendly and helpful, suites are BIG. Excellent breakfast AND evening reception. Pool and gym are adequate. Only downside is that there aren't a lot of places to choose from for food. Otherwise it's a great place to stay at.
Third time at this hotel, we still love it.I did have a problem though. I originally booked for one night then later tried to extend it to two nights. The Hilton website instead wants to cancel the original night and re-book it for two nights. This meant it re-books the original night at the new now higher rate. I don't want to pay more for my already booked night so I made a new separate booking for the second night only. That also created problems. It means two check-ins, two sets of Hilton emails, confusion with the room cleaning staff who process the room differently for a quest that is staying for one night or more than one night, plus having to arrange with the front desk to stay in the same room and not have to move out to a different room on the second night. Hilton needs to fix this booking problem please. This would make a great hotel even better.
