We stayed at the Inn of Waterloo for one night. It met and exceeded all expectations and was a great price as well. The hotel is very large which is a good thing-- they use the space well (it is not a 30 story skyscraper). There are several sitting areas and even a outdoor courtyard in the interior of the building.Nice rooms- on the main floor has a walkout patio/sliding door. Well appointed with modern bathroom/shower. Very comfortable beds and the room had a mini fridge. Lots of little details (like the closet doors have an automatic light that comes on when you open them).Great location-- just a few blocks from Waterloo and Wilfred Laurier. It is also close to St. Jacob's (a quaint little town with one of the best farmer's markets in the world).Great pool- with a fitness room, whirlpool/spa and a sauna with showers. The pool deck is giant with beautiful wrought iron entry gates. Phenomenal breakfast- everything you could want in a self- serve hotel breakfast- waffles, eggs, sausage, etc. The eating space is really outstanding- instead of being crammed into a tiny room off the lobby where all of the tables are taken-- this breakfast is presented in a beautiful expansive dining hall/restaurant. Plenty of space and really nice atmosphere. In summary- a great hotel in a great location for a great price that wasn't a "chain". You really can't go wrong!!

Rooms were clean and the beds were very comfortable. The pool was great too. Breakfast was good however it would have been nice for it to have gone a bit longer the 10am.

I just wanted to say that this hotel checked a lot of happy boxes for me. Although the layout of the building is a bit odd and there was a bit of a walk to our room, the location was secluded and quiet, the room clean, comfy and mostly update (fresh paint, nice tile, modern feel- bathroom fixtures like sink could use update), towels were soft and quality soaps/creams. The pool and hot tub area is gorgeous and have lots of lovely natural lighting; just wished the pool was a bit deeper. The sauna is also very relaxing! Breakfast was stocked at 9:15 with all the standard fare. And, even though we booked third party, we were never made to feel like it. Awesome experience! Would definitely return and recommend!

Salt water pool and small fitness center. Free parking. Free breakfast. In room fridge. Amenities are basic. Guest rooms are average. Fine for a one night stay but probably not for longer or a family getaway.

Good location...close to local restaurants and transportation. The newly renovated rooms are much better compared to other rooms. We had to upgrade for a nominal charge to get the newly renovated room. Good breakfast choices available as well. There is a restaurant inside the hotel as well. Overall a good hotel to stay with family or business.
